Urban Outfitters

Urban Outfitters is by far one of my favorite stores. The clothes they have are really interesting and different than what most stores are selling these days. the clothing has a nice vintage look to it and seems to be pretty well made. The only problem I have with it is that it's sort of expensive. On my budget I can't really spend 60 $ on every dress I want. But there is hope! they do have, in most of their stores, a giant sale room. It is sort of a mess, but searching through it is half the fun. In that room I've gotten huge discounts on some of my favorite dresses, skirts, and shirts. Some pictures of their clothes that I'm currently waiting to go on sale are below. Besides their great clothes they sell these really cool things that no one really needs but as soon as you see them you want them. Like a 3D pet book, fake mustaches, and a guitar shaped spatula. I myself have gotten some mustache band-aids and a sweet art book. They also have pretty good taste in music, if you go to http://lstn.urbanoutfitters.com/ there are a ton of free downloads. You sort of have to pick out the good ones, but there are some real scores hidden in those playlists. Sort of like the sale room. I've gotten some of my favorite songs of of their free download-able playlists. Also another plus about the store, some really cool people work there. One time I went and the two guys working behind the counter we absolutely hilarious. The cool atmosphere of the place adds to the reasons why i love it there.

Vintage Shopping

I love to shop at vintage stores. You can get much more interesting and unique clothing at them than any of the stores at the mall. One of my absolute favorite stores is the Cambridge Garment District in Cambridge, Massachusetts. They sell vintage clothes from several different decades on the top floor which is pretty nice but my favorite part is downstairs. There is a classroom-sized room that's floor is covered in clothes. You are given a bag and you can dig through the pile and pick out all the things you want. After you're done, you weigh the bag and pay $1.50 a pound unless its a Friday, then only $1.00 a pound. This amazingly awesome and cheap way of shopping is fun and extremely entertaining because there are a lot of ridiculous clothes mixed in with only a few real scores. You can't really go in looking for anything but you always stumble upon a few great things. It's also a perfect place to shop for a costume.
